We are hiring a Support Programmer to support and maintain mission-critical card processing systems within Card Processing Services (CPS) at Jack Henry.

This is a production support role, focused on troubleshooting, maintenance, and controlled updates to existing enterprise applications built on the Synergex (Synergy/DE, Synergy DBL) platform. This is not a greenfield development position.

Prior Synergex experience is a plus but not required. Training will be provided.

This is a remote position and candidates must live within approximately a 70-mile radius of our office locations in Allen, TX;
Lenexa, KS;
Springfield, MO; or Monett, MO.

All positions, regardless of location, may require an onsite interview or in-person onboarding requirement to verify your identity.

• Provide production application support for CPS systems.
• Troubleshoot and resolve application and data issues.
• Perform bug fixes and maintenance updates.
• Participate in an on-call rotation (1 week every 4 weeks).
• Communicate directly with financial institution customers.
• Document issues and follow change-control procedures.

• Synergex / Synergy DBL experience
• Legacy language experience (COBOL, RPG, DIBOL)
• Payments, banking, or card processing background
