As a Lead AI/ML Dev Ops Engineer at Humana, you will be responsible for leading the development, deployment, and monitoring of AI/ML models and systems. You will work closely with data scientists, software engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure the successful implementation of AI/ML solutions. Additionally, you will focus on streamlining the deployment process, ensuring the scalability and reliability of AI/ML models, and monitoring their performance.

• Develop and enforce governance policies and standards across all deployment pipelines to ensure consistency and efficiency.
• Drive the Dev Ops governance adoption, implementing controls to streamline the software delivery process and improve reliability.
• Establish and monitor DORA (Dev Ops Research and Assessment) metrics to assess performance and identify areas for improvement.
• Create, maintain, and enhance dashboards to provide visibility into key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics.
• Champion a Dev Ops mindset, promoting agility, speed, and efficiency in the software delivery process.
• Explore and implement ways to deliver software faster, without compromising on quality or reliability.
• Collaborate with development, operations, and security teams to ensure alignment with governance policies and best practices.
• Lead efforts to automate and optimize CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure.
• Mentor and guide a team of Dev Ops engineers, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Focus on key Dev Ops pillars, including continuous integration (CI), continuous delivery (CD), quality, security, compliance, metrics, and reporting.
• Ensure compliance with security and regulatory requirements throughout the software delivery lifecycle.
• Use metrics and KPIs to drive performance improvements and transparency within the Dev Ops function.

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 10+ years of experience as a Dev Ops Engineer, with a focus on governance, cloud infrastructure, and automation.
• Extensive experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP.
• Strong knowledge of CI/CD tools like Azure Dev Ops Pipelines and Git Hub Actions
• Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or similar.
• Experience with containerization and orchestration tools like Docker and Kubernetes.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or similar.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive attitude.
• Strong communication and leadership abilities.

• Master's Degree
• LLM model Dev Ops experience
• API and AI gateway management experience

To ensure Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees’ ability to work effectively, the self-provided internet service of Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees must meet the following criteria:

At minimum, a download speed of 25 Mbps and an upload speed of 10 Mbps is required; wireless, wired cable or DSL connection is suggested.

Satellite, cellular and microwave connection can be used only if approved by leadership.

Employees who live and work from Home in the state of California, Illinois, Montana, or South Dakota will be provided a bi-weekly payment for their internet expense.

Humana will provide Home or Hybrid Home/Office employees with telephone equipment appropriate to meet the business requirements for their position/job.

Work from a dedicated space lacking ongoing interruptions to protect member PHI / HIPAA information.

Travel:
While this is a remote position, occasional travel to Humana's offices for training or meetings may be required.

The compensation range below reflects a good faith estimate of starting base pay for full time (40 hours per week) employment at the time of posting. The pay range may be higher or lower based on geographic location and individual pay will vary based on demonstrated job related skills, knowledge, experience, education, certifications, etc.
