Technical Expert (TEX) – Oracle/SQL/PostgreSQL

For an EU agency in Brussels, we are looking for:

Technical Expert (TEX) – Oracle/SQL/Postgre – Brussels Onsite

• Leading role in developing and implementing information systems in a specific technology
• Advising and sharing expertise with the project teams in the integration of said technology
• Leading during the preparation of technical designs and architecture diagrams of a specific technology
• Lead and coordinate technical activities of the project team around the specific technology
• Supporting team members in their planning and implementing activities for the specific technology
• Researching and creating strategic management, operational, and financial plans

Technical expert in the management (design, development, administration, optimization, security…) of database systems across Oracle, SQL Server and Postgre

SQL platforms. A mix of technical expertise, problem‑solving skills and a proactive mindset to handle various complex database tasks.

• Excellent drafting skills
• Excellent communication skills
• Strong organisational and leadership skills
• Expert‑level knowledge in the technology required (dependent on the specific request)
• Expert‑level knowledge on the architecture and integration of the specific technology

Technical expert in the management (design, development, administration, optimization, security…) of database systems across Oracle, SQL Server and Postgre

SQL platforms. A mix of technical expertise, problem‑solving skills and a proactive mindset to handle various complex database tasks.

Strong database knowledge with proficiency in Oracle, SQL Server and Postgre

SQL. Good expertise in database administration and query languages

Architecture

The interviews are face to face in Brussels, on the client’s offices.

The client requires the consultants to go onsite 2 days a week (it might change in the future to 3 days a week). Please note that remote work from abroad is not permitted. All consultants need to live/relocate to Belgium.
