Overview

Client – Land Services Data Strategy. Project Manager - Complex Cross-Functional Projects (2 Roles). Hybrid: 3 days in office. Pay: $73.00–$83.00 per hour.

We are seeking two experienced Project Managers to lead and coordinate complex, cross-functional projects with multiple dependencies. The successful candidates will be responsible for driving project delivery from initiation through completion while managing stakeholder expectations, mitigating risks, and ensuring alignment across diverse teams and departments.

• Project Planning & Execution:
  Develop comprehensive project plans (scope, timeline, budget, resource allocation, risk management); create and maintain detailed project schedules with critical path analysis and dependency mapping; coordinate activities across multiple functional teams; monitor progress and implement corrective actions; ensure projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
• Stakeholder Management:
  Facilitate communication between cross-functional teams and external stakeholders; conduct regular status meetings and provide executive-level reporting; manage competing priorities and resolve conflicts; build and maintain relationships at all organizational levels; present updates to senior leadership.
• Risk & Dependency Management:
  Identify, assess, and mitigate project risks and dependencies; develop contingency plans for critical components.
• Team Leadership:
  Lead project teams without direct authority using influence and collaboration; facilitate workshops and decision-making sessions; mentor team members; foster collaboration across diverse teams and cultures; drive accountability.

• Education:
  
  Bachelor’s degree.
• Certifications:
  
  PMP preferred;
  Agile/Scrum certifications highly desirable.
• Experience:
  
  Minimum 11 years of project management experience; proven track record in leading cross-functional teams and stakeholder management; experience with projects having external dependencies; strong business process analysis and optimization.
• Technical
  
  Skills:
  
  Proficiency in MS Project and Jira; advanced Excel and PowerPoint; knowledge of Waterfall, Agile, and Hybrid methodologies; familiarity with financial modeling and budget management.

• Knowledge of business process modeling and workflow optimization tools.
• Change management methodologies; strong analytical and data visualization skills.

• Work hours:
  
  8:30 am–5:30 pm.
• Hybrid work environment with flexibility for remote work; extended hours during critical project phases.

• On-time project delivery rate (target: 95%+).
• Budget adherence within 5% of approved budget.

Summary:

Lead initiatives focused on process optimization and system modernization within Data Management operations.

• Area of Focus:
  Process Improvement — Streamline and optimize the project closeout intake process; design and implement a unified tool for Data Management team operations; expected outcomes include reduced processing time, standardized workflow, improved visibility, and better resource allocation.
• Area of Focus:
  System Retirement & Migration — Sunset legacy land  system; migrate operations to the Land Services Database platform; expected outcomes include improved SLAs, system reliability, reduced maintenance, and better integration.
• Core Responsibilities:
  
  Lead end-to-end delivery for process improvement and system migration; coordinate with Data Management, IT, and business stakeholders; manage retirement timeline and risk; ensure minimal business disruption; monitor SLA improvements; facilitate change management.
• Success Criteria:
  Successful tool implementation; complete migration of legacy system; improved SLA targets; zero data loss; positive stakeholder feedback.
