SAP Technical Resource

RESPONSIBILITIES

Kforce’s client is seeking a SAP Technical Resource. This is an onsite role in downtown Houston and will have one day of remote work per week.

• Develop and enhance ABAP programs, reports, interfaces, conversions, enhancements, forms, and workflow (RICEFW) in the PM, SM and PS modules of SAP
• Collaborate with functional consultants, business analysts and end-users to gather requirements, analyze business processes and propose technical solutions
• Design and implement custom functionalities, user exits and enhancements to optimize SAP system performance and meet business objectives
• Perform complex debugging and troubleshooting of ABAP programs to identify and resolve issues efficiently
• Conduct unit testing, integration testing and performance tuning of ABAP programs to ensure reliability, stability, and optimal system performance
• Provide technical guidance and mentoring to peers, promoting knowledge sharing and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including functional consultants, project managers and technical teams to deliver high-quality SAP solutions on time and within budget
• Responsible for production support issues that arise;
  This involves technical knowledge for troubleshooting issues to determine whether process, development/ABAP, security, or configuration needs to change
• Participate in blueprinting and project design sessions when assigned to understand business requirements and validate process approaches
• Provide on-call support (rotation) needed during non-business hours for emergency issue
• Provide EOP (Emergency Operations Pan) support as required
• Provide DR (Disaster Recovery) support as required
• Performs all aspects of work with a high degree of effectiveness, efficiency, and accuracy
• Establish and maintain partnerships with client organization, functional and other IT team members

• 10 years of SAP development experience in the areas of PM, SM and PS modules
• Experience with the maintenance of the SAP technical infrastructure within ECC
• Experienced with using SAP web and integration technologies
• Hands-on experience of integrating SAP with external applications – such as web applications
• S/4 experience

The pay range is the lowest to highest compensation we reasonably in good faith believe we would pay at posting for this role. We may ultimately pay more or less than this range. Employee pay is based on factors like relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, seniority, location, performance, union contract and business needs. This range may be modified in the future.

Hourly employees are not eligible for paid time off unless required by law. Hourly employees on a Service Contract Act project are eligible for paid sick leave.
