ION API Developer

TEKsystems is seeking an Analyst with hands‑on experience in the Infor Cloud Suite Distribution (CSD) ERP system, including development expertise on the ION integration platform.

• Manage and extend capabilities within the Infor CSD (Cloud Suite for Distribution) and ION Programming environment.
• Leverage existing APIs available through Infor to import/export data from the system.
• Develop requirements with SMEs and stakeholders.
• Build and modify extensions and workflows within the system.
• Document current workflows and extensions to assist in training materials development.
• Serve as subject‑matter expert for company initiatives that require guidance with business system programming.
• Implement QA procedures to test the development and go‑live of new programming within the system.

• Expert knowledge and experience in XML, XSLT, JSON, SQL (including stored procedures), REST API usage (including Postman or other API testing tools), and OAuth

• 5+ years developing within the above mentioned environments.
• Conceptual knowledge of threading, callbacks, and sync vs. async processing.
• Proven ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to technical and non‑technical audiences.
• Proven ability to organize multiple priorities and manage time to achieve deliverables that meet or exceed service level objectives.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Deerfield, IL.

The pay range for this position is $55.00 – $65.00/hr.
