Team Lead Social Media & Community Management Berlin

Your mission

Freaks 4U Gaming is looking for an experienced and creative Senior Social Media Manager who brings expertise, trend sensitivity, and strong analytical thinking to elevate our social media presence. In this role, you will develop cross-platform content strategies, manage high-performing campaigns, and serve as the go‑to person for all things related to reach, community building, and platform dynamics – with plenty of room to shape and grow our social media vision.

This position is based on‑site at our Berlin‑Spandau headquarters.

• Develop and implement cross‑channel social media strategies tailored to the gaming and esports landscape
• Conceptualize and produce engaging content for Instagram, Tik Tok, X, You Tube, and Discord
• Plan, manage, and optimize paid social campaigns across major platforms
• Analyze campaign performance using defined KPIs and derive actionable insights
• Monitor social and community trends as well as conduct competitor analysis
• Support pitches, client reporting, and presentations with social media expertise
• Collaborate closely with internal teams such as Publisher Relations and Product Management

Required:

• At least 5 years of professional experience in social media management or digital content
• Deep expertise in producing, planning, and evaluating social media content
• Excellent communication and copywriting skills with a keen sense for platform‑specific tone and style
• Strong understanding of current trends in social media behaviour and digital engagement
• Proven experience managing paid campaigns and working with social media tools
• Fluency in English and strong proficiency in written and spoken German – you know how to adapt tone and language to different audiences

• Experience in an agency setting and/or with gaming and esports projects
• Familiarity with agile workflows (e.g., Kanban, Jira, Confluence)
• Solid knowledge of analytics and CRM tools
