Salary

The salary range for this position is $60,909.02 to $ for Schedule A, and $60,909.02 to $95,286.62 for Schedule

B. For newly hired individuals, the starting salary will normally be at the minimum of the salary range. For current Judiciary employees, salary upon promotion or advancement will be an increase of 5% of base salary, not to exceed the maximum of the range, or the minimum salary of the band/level, whichever is greater. Judiciary employees hired prior to June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule

A. Newly hired individuals, and Judiciary employees hired on or after June 3, 2014, are considered Schedule

Remote Work

The Judiciary currently offers a hybrid work schedule, and this position may qualify for up to 2 days of remote work outside of Judiciary buildings. To participate in this program, in addition to installing a multifactor authentication app on your phone or tablet, you will be required to have high speed home internet access.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in addressing and resolving customer service questions, and provide technical computer information and support to staff, users, and customers.
  • Identify and report user issues that require in‑depth IT support or further research and consult with system users on automated system requirements or problems.
  • Install and test systems software and related hardware.
  • Conduct diagnostic routines to analyze program and system errors.
  • Address hardware or system software malfunctions and support the maintenance of PC, mainframe, or network hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot office equipment.
  • Set up and support audio/video conference equipment for meetings and courtroom appearances.
  • Investigate system faults and implement appropriate corrective measures.
  • Perform routine walkthroughs to identify and fix issues.
  • Configure and support wireless and mobile devices such as laptops, cell phones, and Microsoft Surface Pro.
  • Perform other related duties as required, utilizing strong problem‑solving abilities, technical expertise, and a customer‑first mindset.

The selected candidate will be required to work a non‑traditional work week, which may include Saturdays, Sundays and/or holidays.

Regular and predictable physical presence at the worksite is an essential function of this position.

Qualifications
  • Graduation from an accredited college or university with an associate degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or the area to which the applicant is applying (e.g., information systems, human‑computer interaction, interactive media, software engineering, computer networking, business analytics, data analytics and/or cybersecurity).
  • Optionally, a bachelor’s or associate degree in any field from an accredited college or university and one year of additional paraprofessional and/or professional IT technical experience may substitute for the required education.
  • Optionally, a bachelor’s or master’s degree in a field related to computer science, information technology or the area to which the applicant is applying may substitute for the required education.
