Remote Quantitative Researcher

About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Quantitative Researcher to join our growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong foundation in statistical analysis, mathematical modeling, and programming, with a passion for leveraging data to drive strategic decision-making and innovation.

As a Quantitative Researcher, you will collaborate closely with data scientists, engineers, and business strategists to design and implement models that provide actionable insights and enhance performance across various projects.

• Develop, implement, and optimize quantitative models using large datasets.
• Conduct statistical analyses, simulations, and predictive modeling.
• Perform research and backtesting of new strategies and methodologies.
• Communicate findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate data insights into actionable business strategies.
• Stay current with industry trends, emerging technologies, and academic research relevant to quantitative finance and data science.

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, Engineering, Physics, Economics, or a related field.
• Strong programming skills in Python, R, MATLAB, or
  
  C.
• Experience with data analysis, machine learning, and statistical modeling.
• Proficiency in handling large datasets and working with SQL or similar database systems.
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Prior experience in finance, trading, or research environments is preferred but not required.

Salary: $175,000 — $190,000 per year (based on experience and qualifications)
