Position Overview: We are seeking a Director of Technology with deep experience in the Life, Health, and Annuity space to lead and inspire a team of talented developers. This is a high‑impact role with the opportunity to grow into C‑Suite leadership, shaping technology strategy across multiple SaaS products that transform insurance operations. The ideal candidate brings domain expertise, a passion for innovation, and a track record of driving results in Life & Health / Annuity environments, whether at a carrier or as a vendor partner.

• Define and execute technology strategies to support L&H / Annuity products that streamline complex insurance operations.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of developers, fostering innovation, accountability, and excellence.
• Collaborate closely with product, actuarial, and operations teams to deliver high‑quality, scalable solutions.
• Build a strong, motivated, and high‑performing development team.
• Establish clear goals, professional growth plans, and a culture of continuous improvement and collaboration.
• Guide development life cycles, ensuring timely, secure, and reliable delivery of software solutions.
• Champion best practices in software development, architecture, and Dev Ops tailored for the insurance industry.
• Apply deep understanding of Life, Health, and Annuity insurance operations, regulatory requirements, and market trends.
• Leverage prior experience at L&H / Annuity carriers or vendor partners to inform technology and process decisions.
• Drive modernization and adoption of new technologies to enhance operational efficiency.
• Translate complex challenges into simple, scalable solutions that positively impact insurers and their clients.

• Proven experience as a Director of Technology, Head of Engineering, or equivalent managing software developers.
• Significant domain knowledge in Life, Health, and Annuity insurance, with prior carrier or vendor partner experience strongly preferred.
• Track record of successfully delivering software in regulated insurance environments.
• Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
• Familiarity with SaaS platforms, cloud technologies, APIs, and modern software development practices.
