Web Application Developer; Remote

Zachary Piper Solutions is seeking a seasoned Web Application Developer with a strong background in cloud infrastructure, API development, and modern web technologies to support a Department of the Interior federal program. The Web Application Developer will manage cloud services, build scalable web applications and lead integration efforts across platforms. This role is fully remote, and the candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance.

• Configure and maintain a wide range of AWS services including IAM, RDS (SQL Server, Postgre
  
  SQL, Aurora), S3, ECS, EKS, Lambda, Cloud Front, SQS, SNS, and Code Artifact
• Provide technical support for cloud networking, load balancing, and perimeter security tools (e.g., Sophos UTM)
• Oversee and enhance Cold Fusion-based CMS platforms, including custom templates, scheduled tasks, and third-party integrations
• Build and maintain APIs using REST, SOAP, JSON, XML, and GraphQL
• Architect and deploy APIs that support enterprise-scale data operations.
• Develop responsive web features using Cold Fusion, JavaScript, Type Script, HTML, CSS, and JSON/XML
• Utilize modern frameworks such as React, Angular, and Bootstrap

• 7+ years of experience managing AWS environments
• Strong Cold Fusion development experience
• Proficiency in JavaScript, Type Script, HTML, CSS, JSON, XML
• Extensive experience with API development and integration
• Solid understanding of .NET microservices and enterprise data systems.
• Expertise in SQL Server, Postgre
  
  SQL, and Aurora
• Familiarity with IIS, Apache, SSL, and load balancing
• Bachelor’s degree is required
• Must be able to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance

• Salary:
  Between $120,000 – $140,000 based on years of relevant experience
