Care Plus Health Plans – BI Analyst
Join the Care Plus Health Plans team as a BI Analyst / Business Intelligence Engineer 2 and help solve complex business problems using data, provide insight to decision‑makers, and drive data‑driven decisions across the enterprise.
Pay RangeBase pay: $66,800.00/yr – $91,100.00/yr
Responsibilities- Develop, optimize data models, ETL processes, and dashboards to track key performance indicators.
- Analyze customer, provider, and operational data to deliver actionable insights for leadership.
- Automate reporting processes, reducing manual effort and increasing accuracy and predictability.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams (Product, Finance, Operations) to ensure data consistency, governance, and alignment with enterprise standards.
- 5+ years of technical experience in healthcare data analysis.
- 2+ years of experience in SQL, SAS, or other data systems.
- Comprehensive experience with Microsoft Word, Excel (pivot tables, formulas, data manipulation), PowerPoint, Visio, and Access (relational databases).
- Expertise in assessing complex data sets and performing root cause analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher.
- Experience with data mining and predictive modeling techniques.
- Experience in Medicare/Medicaid, CMS, or other federally regulated healthcare programs.
- Experience with Humana systems, specifically Service Fund.
- Experience with Power BI for creating data visualizations.
- Experience with Azure Synapse Analytics.
- Ability to communicate findings effectively to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
Work at home remote. Occasional travel to Humana’s offices for training or meetings may be required.
