Data Scientist, Data Analyst
Accountabilities
- Clean, transform, and prepare clinical trial data from multiple sources for PK/PD analysis
- Develop and execute R or Rmarkdown code for descriptive and statistical analyses of PK/PD data
- Create clear, informative tables, graphs, and visualizations to communicate analysis findings effectively
- Ensure data and outputs comply with CDISC standards (SEND, SDTM, ADaM) for regulatory submissions
- Perform validation and quality control on programming code and analysis results to maintain data integrity
- Identify issues and develop tools that enhance efficiency and capacity within the Clinical PK/PD Programming group
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and study teams to implement advanced modeling and statistical procedures as needed
- Bachelor’s degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Computer Science, or a related field
- 3+ years of relevant industry experience in clinical data programming
- Advanced R programming skills, including tidyverse, ggplot2, Markdown, Quarto, and Shiny
- Knowledge of CDISC standards (SEND, SDTM, ADaM)
- Familiarity with clinical PK/PD concepts and related data programming is highly desirable
- Experience visualizing and presenting data for internal stakeholders or clients
- Strong understanding of clinical trial data, including handling uncleaned or complex datasets
- Professional attitude, self-motivated, and able to work independently and collaboratively
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to problem-solve and develop innovative solutions
- Additional programming skills in Python or SAS are a plus but not required
