Product Support Specialist [REMOTE within TX]
Join Iteris, Inc as a dedicated and customer‑focused Product Support Specialist, delivering exceptional field service for our advanced detection and ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) solutions. This role offers hands‑on experience with cutting‑edge technology, providing training, troubleshooting, and programming support.
Responsibilities- Provide on‑site and phone‑based troubleshooting, system turn‑on, and support for Iteris detection and signal‑related ITS devices.
- Execute installation, maintenance, and repair services under maintenance/service contracts, emphasizing responsiveness and accountability.
- Maintain high safety standards while working in and around roadways, including proper use of bucket trucks.
- Foster strong client relationships by delivering professional, timely, and effective technical solutions.
- Travel up to 50% overnight to provide optimal on‑site project support.
- IMSA Level I Certification (or ability to obtain) required.
- IMSA Work Zone Safety certification highly preferred.
- Minimum three (3) years of field‑based technical support experience with traffic signal – ITS equipment (e.g., cabinets, controllers, detection systems).
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel) essential.
- Proven track record working with ITS equipment, whether for a manufacturer or in a municipal/contractor role.
- Exceptional service, professionalism, and effective communication in high‑stakes environments.
- Self‑motivated, team‑oriented professional with strong organizational skills and commitment to continuous improvement.
- Acceptable driving record and ability to travel extensively.
Base salary $80,000–$90,000 with quarterly commissions; actual pay may vary based on experience.
