MLOPS Engineer

People Cert is seeking a MLOps Engineer who will ensure that People Cert’s AI models run reliably, securely, and at scale in production. You’ll design and maintain the pipelines that allow models to be trained, deployed, monitored, and continuously improved. Your mission is to turn prototypes into trusted enterprise services and to keep them healthy once they’re live.

• Design, implement, and manage CI/CD pipelines for AI/ML models.
• Automate deployment workflows for training, testing, and serving models in enterprise environments.
• Set up monitoring and observability frameworks to detect model drift, bias, and performance degradation.
• Collaborate with Machine Learning Engineers to transition models from prototype to production.
• Optimize infrastructure for scalability, performance, and cost efficiency.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise security, data protection, and regulatory requirements.
• Document workflows and establish best practices for AI operations.

• Academic background in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; a Master s degree or higher will be considered a plus.
• 3+ years proven experience with MLOps frameworks (MLflow, Kubeflow, or equivalent).
• Strong skills in containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Solid background in CI/CD, Dev Ops, or platform engineering applied to ML systems.
• Familiarity with monitoring tools and model lifecycle management.
• Strong scripting and automation skills (Python, Bash, or equivalent).
• Ability to collaborate across engineering, data, and product teams.
• Excellent knowledge of English (C2 level certification desired; Language Cert C2 LTE or C2 IESOL certificate would be a plus). Extra languages desired.

• Experience with feature stores and data versioning tools.
• Familiarity with large-scale enterprise application environments (ERP, CRM, digital platforms).
• Knowledge of responsible AI practices, including audit logging and explainability frameworks.
• Exposure to multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.

Any person who is engaged by People Cert to work on the SELT service must undergo a Background Check (the results of which must be acceptable to People Cert and the HO) prior to commencing their SELT duties. All SELT personnel will be required to complete a declaration (provided by People Cert) where the existence of any criminal record and/or bankruptcy must be declared.

If working on the SELT service in the UK, background checks will include:

• A basic or enhanced Disclosure Barring Service (DBS) check
• Right to Work in the UK check (including nationality, identity and place of residence)
• HO security check (Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) or Counter Terrorist Check (CTC))
• Financial background check
• Employment reference check.
• If working on the SELT service anywhere in the world (outside of the UK) personnel will undergo background checks that are equivalent to those stated for the UK.

In addition, if personnel are required to speak to SELT candidates they must be appropriately skilled in English language and, where SELT services are provided anywhere in the world (outside of the UK), the official language of the relevant country.
