This position may be located in Moline, IL, Des Moines, IA, Austin, TX per the hiring manager's discretion. This position is eligible for remote work at the present time, however it may be dependent on the successful candidate's background, experience, and proficiency.

About the Role

In this role you will map and deliver meaningful personalization experiences to improve our customer’s digital experience. Focused on the entire customer journey, you will partner with marketing and digital product groups to scale and embed our existing personalization efforts deeper into the digital omni-channel. This role will allow you to map out critical milestones in our customer’s lifecycle, translate them into relevant data expressions and leverage our mature personalization tech stack to delight our customers and directly impact business goals.

You will act as quarterback and liaison between marketing organizations and the engineering and data steward groups that maintain the backbone of our personalization decisioning technology. You will embed this technical opportunity into our digital omni-channel so Deere can meaningfully curate and streamline our customer’s digital experience.

Your Responsibilities
  • Translate customer journeys and milestones into matrixed personalization omni-channel experiences (web, email, digital advertising)
  • Streamline and automate personalization tactic processes across all digital channels and digital marketing groups
  • Act as expert and coach across the global enterprise to instill best practices into our marketing organization and drive digital engagement and digital marketing effectiveness
  • Craft, propose, and execute a strategy to drive personalization decisions through headless UI components across all Deere digital experiences
  • Inform a metadata strategy which enables seamless pairings of customer personas and content in a digital personalization context
  • Collaborate with Digital Activity Data Product to harden and make accessible rich descriptive analysis of your personalization efforts
  • Own digital abandonment reclamation efforts (Always-On) in an omni-channel context

What Skills You Need
  • 5 or more years of experience in digital/software product development with a focus on customer digital applications
  • 3 or more years of experience executing digital go-to-market strategies and digital customer journey planning
  • 3 or more years of experience communicating to a diverse stakeholder group conveying complex concepts in simple customer-centric ways
  • 3 or more years of experience interpreting digital web behavioral data
  • Proven emotional and technical knowledge to achieve results in partnership with experts in engineering, architecture, UX/UI, product management, and application/Mar Tech management
  • A track record of digital optimization via A/B Tests, curated experiences, and customer-centric feature development
What Makes You Stand Out
  • Conceptual fluency with Data as a Product, Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem, graphical databases
  • An understanding of headless design systems in UI components
  • Technical fluency to engage with Data Scientists and Software engineers to create solutions
  • Experience crafting and advancing a strategy in a complex organization
  • An understanding of consent mechanisms and data privacy, including GDPR
