What You’ll Do

We are looking for a Configuration Analyst to join our Distribution Partner Support Team within RIS (Retirement Income Solutions
- Annuities). This is a multi-functional role working directly with business, IT teams and vendors to craft, build and maintain critical processes within configurable systems. This role will be responsible for providing technical solutions, configuration, and consultation for purposes of designing, developing, testing, and implementing products within a wide range of configurable systems.

• Configure and support various systems to support our distribution partners, including such systems as Annuity Net, Affim, Fire Light, VTXML, and DTCC.

• Field questions and troubleshoot issues from IT, Operations and Distribution Partners.

• Conduct testing and production verification when updates are made to the systems.

• Collaborate with partners from within the organization and outside, including finance, IT, operations, and vendors, to drive improvements.

• Analyze vendor updates, as well as internal efforts, to determine impacts to facilitate prioritization of initiatives and ensure alignment with business objectives.

• Become a SME on one or more systems.

• An Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree is preferred, ideally in computer science, technology, engineering, or a math‐related field.

• 4+ years of relevant experience, preferably working with configurable systems.

• Intermediate experience with SQL (relational databases), Excel/VBA, XML or similar tools

• Ability to recognize relevant business and operational risks, manage them to optimize outcomes and minimize loss, and safeguard business resiliency

• Excellent planning, organizational, problem‐solving, analytical, and decision‐making skills

• Communicate effectively with various teams, both internal and external

• May be required to work outside of core hours (nights/weekends)

• Configuration experience within any of the following systems or a combination of them:
  Annuity Net, Affim, VTXML, Fire Light and/or knowledge of DTCC files and formats

• WinSQL knowledge

• Ability to view flat files, in varying systems

• Variable, registered-indexed linked annuities and income annuity product knowledge

Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.

$84600 - $152400 / year

Flexible Time Off (FTO) is provided to salaried (exempt) employees and provides the opportunity to take time away from the office with pay for vacation, personal or short-term illness. Employees don’t accrue a bank of time off under FTO and there is no set number of days provided.
