Network Administrator

Description

We are seeking a Network & Systems Administrator to join our healthcare IT team. This role is responsible for managing and expanding our hospital network infrastructure, supporting virtual server environments, and ensuring secure connectivity across multiple locations. You will work closely with vendors, manage telephony systems, and participate in an on-call rotation for emergency needs.

• Maintain and optimize network infrastructure for the main campus and remote offices.
• Deploy and configure Cisco routing, switching, and access points.
• Spin up and manage Windows virtual servers using VMware; oversee backup solutions (Exa Grid).
• Administer Cisco Unified Call Manager and coordinate with CDW for contract support.
• Collaborate with Cere Core for firewall configuration and security compliance.
• Provide remote access solutions for servers and troubleshoot connectivity issues.
• Interface with vendors for system integration and support.
• Participate in on-call rotation (1 week every 4 weeks) for emergency support.

Join a 5-person IT team supporting 600 computers, 80 servers, 100 printers/copiers. Infrastructure spans a main campus and multiple remote offices (with expansion planned).

Network engineering, Cisco routing and switching, VMware, firewall, wireless, remote access, WAN, troubleshooting, data center, infrastructure.

Certifications:

Cisco CCNA/CCNP, VMware VCP, Microsoft MCSE. Security knowledge: HIPAA compliance. Cloud experience:
Azure or AWS. Scripting:
Power Shell or Python. VoIP expertise:
Cisco telephony. Disaster recovery planning experience.

Expert Level

Contract position based out of Hartsville, SC. Full onsite.
