Must Have Snowflake ADMIN and Python Experience

Snowflake software administration

Snowflake data lake development and configuration

Snowflake Data Marketplace development and configuration

Training on Snowflake administration and development

Expertise in establishing Snowflake / Informatica integrations

Data analytics support

Best practices and advisory in metadata controls, data quality, lineage mapping, and related governance area

8 am to 5 pm Monday through Friday in Central Austin off MOPAC - Expect a typical 40 hour work week

W2 with benefits offered - employee of Yoh Services working as a contractor at a client site

Location is Austin Texas and can not be considered for remote work - ONSITE ONLY

Nine or more years of experience in developing and documenting business requirements and serving as a liaison between business partners and IT. A degree(s) in business required.

Key Qualifications
  • Snowflake and Python Required
  • Serve as a senior-level liaison between technical staff and end-users to ensure functionality and efficient use of software applications supporting moderately complex business processes.
  • May specialize in a specific business process and related enterprise application (e.g., People Soft, Maximo) or work on implementing multiple applications across business processes.
  • Define IT systems scope and objectives based on user needs and industry requirements.
  • Analyze business processes and user needs; document requirements and translate them into system specifications.
  • Design new or modified processes and procedures to solve complex problems, considering system capacity and desired outcomes.
  • Lead application upgrade / enhancement efforts and communicate changes to stakeholders.
  • When specializing in an enterprise application :
    Design training materials, test applications for errors, write documentation, and train end-users.
  • Work at the highest technical level of most phases of systems analysis while considering business implications of technology.
  • Utilize in-depth knowledge of best practices to provide and improve services.
  • Solve complex problems with innovative approaches; work independently with minimal guidance.
  • Act as a resource for less experienced colleagues and may direct the work of other staff.
Key Responsibilities
  • Act as liaison between business departments and technical staff to enable technical solutions through software development or purchase / configuration.
  • Develop business cases for technical solutions and participate in build vs. buy decisions.
  • Analyze business operations to identify process strengths and weaknesses; design new or modified processes for automation and improvement.
  • Document business requirements for technical solutions; manage changes from initiation to implementation.
  • Partner with technology staff and vendors for software development, configuration, and upgrades / enhancements.
  • Lead project planning and communicate status to management; configure purchased software to desired functionality.
  • Support end-users of enterprise applications (e.g., People Soft, Maximo) :
    Assign user access with appropriate security. Coordinate review and audit of user access. Design training materials and deliver training. Create complex reports to support business operations. Maintain system documentation and troubleshoot moderately complex errors. Track system issues and resolutions; perform testing and develop test plans / cases.
  • Lead development and implementation of standardized procedures for business systems analysis, process mapping, and requirements documentation.
  • Utilize business process management tools for system-level implementation; recommend tool selection / upgrades.
Minimum Qualifications
  • Nine or more years of experience developing and documenting business requirements and serving as liaison between business partners and IT.
