Systems & Data Senior Analyst - Connected Grid Initiative

What to Expect (Job Responsibilities):

• Establish and manage internal systems to support operations, including Salesforce and grant management systems

• Lead the implementation and ongoing operations of Salesforce Grants Management System (GMS) and manage grantee data

• Develop and enhance databases and tools to improve data entry, reporting, and analysis for grantmaking processes

• Manage external engagement systems, including the CGI Hub website and communications with grantees

• Provide logistical support for retreats and convenings, and assist with proposals and donor reports

What is Required (Qualifications):

• 3-5+ years of experience in CRM, database systems, or operations roles, preferably in philanthropy or nonprofits

• Hands‑on experience with Salesforce or similar cloud‑based relational database systems

• Strong data management skills, including maintaining data quality and developing analytical tools

• Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines across various operational work streams

• Clear written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical concepts in user‑friendly terms

How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications):

• Experience designing or maintaining databases and developing user‑friendly interfaces

• Familiarity with Word Press or similar CMS platforms, or basic HTML

• Experience managing external vendors or technical partners for system improvements

• Strong analytical skills to interpret data trends and support organizational learning

• Collaborative working style with enthusiasm for contributing to a fast‑paced team environment
