Technical Systems Administrator

• Configure, monitor, document, and maintain the Brightspace Learning Management System and related instructional technologies
• Independently identify, track, and resolve system issues to ensure proper functionality
• Develop and maintain access to learning data through standard and custom reporting
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to system functionality and integrations
• Respond to and resolve complex help desk escalations and be available for critical issues outside standard hours

• Experience as a technical systems administrator of Brightspace or a similar LMS
• Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or equivalent relevant professional experience
• Strong understanding of Brightspace data sets and familiarity with custom reporting
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and respond effectively to urgent situations

• Experience with QA and acceptance testing
• Familiarity with light scripting and the use of APIs for automation and data workflows
• In-depth understanding of organizational structure, file systems, user management, and permissions
