Come join our team as an TGIS System Administrator on theUNITED STATES TRANSPORTATION COMMAND MILITARY SURFACE DEPLOYMENT AND DISTRIBUTION COMMAND Transportation Geospatial Information System (TGIS) Contract!

This position requires a minimum of 2 day a week on-site support, on Wednesday and Thursday, at Scott AFB and an Active Secret clearance. Remote work is authorized on days when on-site support is not required.

• Monitor performance for production application, database, and web servers
• Operate, sustain, and harden Red Hat Enterprise Linux (RHEL) and Windows servers
• Support TGIS applications hosted in multiple unclassified AWS environments
• Support TGIS applications hosted on SIPRNet
• Complete Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIG) on TGIS operating systems
• Perform system configuration beyond organizational baselines
• Track and report database, application, and web server performance issues
• Complete security and accreditation requirements in all TGIS environments
• Propose software, interface, and technical changes to the Configuration Manager
• Calculate the effects of implementing changes in the TGIS environments
• Respond to service outages and other problems
• Complete operation and maintenance tasks such as:
  Install system upgrades;
  Manage system resources;
  Optimize system performance
• Perform system startup, shutdown, and diagnostics
• Configure, test, and maintain operating systems and system management tools

• Bachelor’s degree and 5 years  experience in related field
• Active Secret clearance
• DOD 8570-01M certification: IAT Level II or higher (e.g., Security+ CE)
• Self-starter with strong communication skills that thrives in a hybrid work environment
