Data Use Analyst
Overview
Data Use Analyst at the Tennessee Department of Education, Nashville, TN. Salary: $80,000–$85,000. Closing Date: 01/19/2026. This position will work primarily in the office at the following address, with occasional work-from-home days as business needs permit, pursuant to the department's Alternative Workplace Solutions policy:
Tennessee Department of Education, Andrew Johnson Tower, 710 James Robertson Parkway, Nashville, TN 37243.
- Support the Data Use Team by maintaining critical data assets and conducting in-depth exploratory analyses of assigned datasets from various data sources to identify data quality issues and calculate basic statistics.
- Fulfill internal and external data requests in a timely and accurate manner; provide data support to program teams as requested.
- Coordinate the data request process and support team logistics and operations.
- Establish and maintain documentation on data cleaning protocols and relevant business rules.
- Complete recurring state and federal reporting requirements as assigned.
- Master's degree in education, education administration or related field and substantial educational work experience (5+ years) including 3 years of education administration or supervisory work.
The department offers a salary and benefits package as described above. The position is primarily office-based with occasional remote work in line with policy.
