We are seeking a talented Senior Network Engineer with extensive experience in Fortinet, Meraki, Azure, and Cisco networking technologies to join our team. As a Network Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our network infrastructure, ensuring the optimal performance, security, and scalability of our network.

This is a remote position based from your home office, where you’ll handle most tasks virtually. However, from time to time, you’ll be on-site for installations, network upgrades, and project work to ensure everything runs smoothly.

• Design, implement, and maintain customer network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, and wireless access points
• Configure and troubleshoot network devices, including Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki, HPE, Ubiquiti, switches and routers
• Monitor network performance and ensure maximum uptime and availability
• Develop and maintain network security policies and procedures, including firewall configurations, VPNs, and access control lists
• Work closely with the infrastructure team to design and implement network infrastructure for new applications and services
• Collaborate with other IT teams to resolve network-related issues and ensure seamless integration with other systems
• Provide technical support and guidance to end-users and other IT teams as an escalation point
• Maintain and update network documentation, including network diagrams and configurations
• Stay up-to-date with the latest networking technologies and trends and make recommendations for network improvements and upgrades
• Enter time accurately and track work via tickets and project systems

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
• 7+ years of experience in network engineering, with a strong focus on Fortinet, Cisco, Meraki, and Azure technologies
• Experience with Fortinet and Meraki cloud-managed networking technologies
• Experience with HPE, Watch Guard, Fortinet, and Ubiquiti
• Hands-on experience with Azure networking technologies, including Virtual Networks, VPNs, and Express Route
• Strong knowledge of TCP/IP, routing protocols (TCP/IP, BGP, OSPF, and MPLS), and network security concepts
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to create documentation and establish processes and knowledge bases
• Strong client-centric mindset with a focus on delivering exceptional MSP support and solutions
