5+ years of BA Experience in IT projects. IT software/application project experience required

Complete Description

Work with internal staff to optimize processes and improve quality for the design, development and maintenance of VDOT Software Systems.

Learn and understand the operational systems. Consult with business teams and technical teams to develop requirements for improvements to systems.

Translate requirements into technical specifications to be used by technical teams to develop system modifications.

Prepare diagrams explaining the modifications so that both technical staff and executive management can visualize and understand what must be done.

Propose alternative solutions that balance cost and benefit. Assure business and technical compatibility and performance.

Drives consistent project delivery through the entire project lifecycle. Tracks and exports project metrics and ensures that the team are practicing Agile principles.

Must have technical experience in Test Plan/Storyboard/Requirements.

Must have experience in requirements elicitation, storyboard development, wireframe preparation, test planning, and test execution.

Required/Desired Skills

Agile Business Analyst;
Strong understanding of Scrum concepts and methodologies - Required, 5 Years
Well versed with Scrum and Agile, Scaled Agile and Kanban methodologies - Required, 5 Years
Technical experience in organizing and maintaining sprint and product backlogs - Required, 5 Years
Technical experience translating client and product strategy requirement into application requirements and user stories - Required, 5 Years
Ability to analyze and document business and system processes - Required, 3 Years
Prior State of VA IT Business Analyst Experience - Strongly preferred
