Location: 100% Remote
Pay Rate: $17‑$18.30 hourly on W2
JOB SUMMARYTraining will be Monday - Friday 8:30am to 5pm EST. After training, you will move to a later shift such as 9:30am‑6pm, 10:30am‑7pm, 10am‑7pm, or work until 8‑9pm. Saturdays will have two shifts (8‑4:30am or 8:30am‑5pm EST).
Our Customer & Technical Support Consultants are the direct line between the client and our customers. This role is best suited to organized, passionate communicators who strive to help veterinarians, veterinary technicians, and animal healthcare diagnostic professionals keep pets healthy.
Successful candidates will thrive in a fast‑paced environment navigating a variety of inquiries to provide solutions. You will handle 20‑30 calls a day, resolving customer inquiries through multiple methods while documenting solutions on the call. Our Hematology team supports products such as Pro Cyte Dx, Pro Cyte One, and inVue analyzers.
In the role of Customer and Technical Support Consultant – Hematology:
- You will instruct customers on the use of our in‑house diagnostic analyzers.
- You will coordinate and assist with equipment installations and troubleshoot mechanical hardware and software integration issues.
- Experience in a technically related field, such as veterinary practice with chemistry analyzers, a laboratory setting, or a contact center environment.
- Strong computer and technical skills, with the aptitude to learn applicable software and hardware. Networking and/or software support is a plus.
- Highly motivated, goal‑oriented, and a strong collaborator.
- A proven track record of providing extraordinary customer service.
- Superb listening and communication (verbal and written) skills to be a successful customer support specialist.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to establish rapport quickly.
- A master problem solver with fine attention to detail and strong organizational skills in a multitasking environment.
- Ability to learn quickly and apply skills to a variety of customer interactions.
- Ability to be on the phone for 8 hours per day.
- Reliable and dependable attendance is essential.
When working from your virtual office, you must be available by telephone, voicemail, email, and MS Teams during your scheduled business hours. A high‑speed hardwired internet connection (minimum 15 Mbps download; 3 Mbps upload) is required. Dexian will supply a laptop, docking station, monitors, keyboard, mouse, and headset, which you will maintain appropriately.
