Remote Work and Onsite Expectations:

Remote work is acceptable, with a preference for local candidates or those within Pacific or Central Time Zones. NO EST.
Occasional onsite requirements may include HR orientation, equipment pickup, pre-employment health appointments, annual team events, go-lives, or other manager-assigned instances.
Flexible travel expectations, typically requiring onsite presence 2–4 days per year for most remote team members.
Equipment shipping available for candidates located 2+ hours driving distance from the office.

Summary:

The Product Manager, Human Capital and Time Management Applications, serves as the critical bridge between IT and Human Resources, driving the strategic alignment of technology with HR business objectives. This role manages the full lifecycle of HR applications, including potentially Workday, Kronos and Health Stream, ensuring seamless operations and delivering high-value IT solutions. Reporting to the Director, Human Capital and Time Management Applications, the Product Manager blends technical expertise with business acumen to support existing systems, lead projects, and facilitate strategic IT initiatives within the HR domain.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Project Management, Business or a related field.
  • Must have 5 years of experience working in a healthcare setting.
  • Must have 5 years of experience in Information Technology with a focus on configuring and supporting HRIS systems, with a strong understanding of HR processes and data management.
  • Experience with the implementation, re-engineering or re-design of scheduling and timekeeping process and support applications, credential tracking and management, identity management across employees and non-employees.
  • Proven experience (3+ years) managing leadership-level business relationships and leading technology teams in application support or project management.
  • Demonstrated expertise in project management, including planning, execution, and oversight, with knowledge of ITIL framework and software delivery methodologies.
  • Strong business acumen and understanding of enterprise IT strategy, with experience as a consultant or facilitator.
  • Making presentations in front of large groups.

Accountabilities:
  • Oversees the building of products to ensure quality of build of the digital application solutions. Helps develop new ideas based on contact with department partners.
  • Manages, administers, and plans the development of all digital and analytics applications activities in ensuring the work of the objectives are met. Makes decisions with imperfect information, knows how to lead without authority and is comfortable managing chaos, ambiguity and complexity.
  • Analyzes and recommends appropriate technical solutions, digital applications and integration efforts to support the overall enterprise. Spends time in the market to understand industry problems and finds innovative solutions for Keck.
  • Maintains a leadership role in setting service direction and ensures standards and policies are maintained and compatible with USC standard information systems architecture, tools, policies, and procedures. Will also serve as the internal and external evangelist for Analytics and Applications product offerings.
  • Ensures adequate oversight by and participation among key business and digital applications partners from the enterprise, including but not limited to clinical, business, and research areas.
