Manager, Dynamics 365 F&O Consulting
BDO Canada invites applications for a Manager, Dynamics 365 F&O Consulting role that will lead the fast‑paced and growing Dynamics 365 F&O consulting practice. The position offers flexibility with the ability to work from anywhere in Canada.
Responsibilities- Talent
- Support new talent recruitment.
- Mentor and coach the team, including performance management and career guidance.
- Plan and forecast team utilization.
- Ensure professionals possess required skills and capacity.
- Engagements
- Act as trusted advisor to external customers and BDO project teams during Dynamics F&O Finance implementations.
- Manage multiple engagements within budget, timeline, and scope.
- Monitor vendor relationships.
- Lead action‑planning meetings and drive deliverables to closure.
- Serve as escalation contact for after‑hours issues and customer satisfaction concerns.
- Build deep client relationships and expand engagement footprint.
- Analyze customer business needs and provide in‑depth application expertise.
- Streamline processes to achieve ROI within the Dynamics 365 suite.
- Operations
- Deliver high‑quality operations and customer service.
- Support evolution of tools and procedures via continuous improvement.
- Track and report key performance indicators to support operational excellence.
- Growth
- Participate in pre‑sales presentations, pricing, and proposals.
- Assist in new service offering development and implementation.
- Lead aspects of the practice’s annual business plan.

- Minimum 5+ years of Dynamics 365 F&O consulting experience with strong expertise in one or more functional areas (Finance, Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Retail, HR, etc.).
- Experience managing Dynamics 365 F&O implementations or leading multiple functional consultants.
- Relevant Dynamics 365 F&O/AX certifications considered.
- Self‑motivated, articulate, and inspirational.
- Process analysis, redesign, and documentation experience.
- Functional design, configuration, and process alignment with detailed financial system knowledge.
- Experience working with ISVs such as Dynaway, SKG.
