Mission Technologies, Cyber & Intelligence Team is looking for a Sr. Python Developer to join a cutting-edge cybersecurity initiative focused on safeguarding critical digital infrastructure. If you're passionate about writing clean, scalable code and thrive in mission-driven environments, this one is for you.

You can expect to collaborate closely with a dedicated team and mission stakeholders to gather and refine technical requirements, ensuring alignment with mission objectives. Your role will involve designing and implementing parsers for a wide range of network protocols, as well as developing sophisticated fingerprints and detection signatures to identify suspicious or anomalous network activity. You will also be responsible for integrating and deploying these solutions into customer-supported tools, streamlining and automating the analysis of data and metadata to enhance threat detection and response capabilities.

Experience working directly with customers to integrate and overlay network datasets within established architectures, specifically using the ABYSS product

Proficiency in integrating custom parsers and detection signatures into ABYSS to enhance network visibility and threat detection

Demonstrated ability to develop and refine tradecraft for front-end sensors, supporting advanced cybersecurity operations and situational awareness

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or a related field, with a minimum of 8 years of relevant professional experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience)

Clearance:
Must possess and maintain an active TS/SCI clearance with Polygraph for consideration

Strong programming expertise in Python, C++, and Apache Spark

Hands-on experience with tools and platforms such as Jupyter Notebooks, JIRA, Confluence, and Git/Git Lab

Familiarity with XKEYSCORE and ABYSS fingerprinting techniques for network analysis and threat detection
