IT Project Manager

York IT Solutions is hiring an IT Project Manager in contract and onsite capacity.

We are seeking a Senior Project Manager to join a small, hands-on PMO supporting enterprise corporate systems across Legal, Finance, HR, Sales, Marketing, and other shared services. This role reports directly to the PMO Manager and serves as the day‑to‑day owner and champion for multiple concurrent initiatives. This is a high‑visibility, execution‑focused role requiring strong fundamentals in traditional project management, comfort operating in Agile and hybrid environments, and the confidence to proactively lead teams, surface risks, and drive outcomes.

The Senior PM will manage up to 6–8 projects simultaneously, spanning systems such as Salesforce, Workday, and proprietary platforms.

The ideal candidate is not a passive status‑taker, but a true senior PM who understands how to move initiatives from initiation through closeout, applies structure where needed, and adapts delivery approaches based on the maturity of the team and platform.

5–10+ years of hands‑on project management experience in IT or enterprise systems environments.

• Build and manage project plans
• Maintain RAID logs
• Drive projects through defined stages and checkpoints
• Experience managing multiple concurrent projects in complex, matrixed organizations
• Strong understanding of both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Proven ability to operate independently and take ownership of outcomes

• Highly organized, detail‑oriented, and proactive
• Strong facilitation and meeting leadership skills
• Comfortable holding teams accountable and driving follow‑up
• Confident communicator with executives and senior stakeholders
• Able to balance structure with flexibility in evolving delivery environments
