Role

Summary:

The Security Engineer is a hands‑on technical expert responsible for implementing, maintaining, and optimizing MNAO’s security tooling. This role works closely with platform and infrastructure teams to ensure all security controls are properly configured and operational.

• Implements and maintains security tooling for MNAO, ensuring proper configurations, applying Security-by-Design principles.
• Works directly with MNAO's infrastructure, Client Services team and MSSP to ensure all platforms are configured for visibility.
• Applies data security principles to tool configurations and integrations.
• Implements and maintains security tooling that supports MNAO's business continuity and disaster recovery.
• Develops and implements security automation scripts and tools to streamline security operations and enforcement.
• Conducts technical vulnerability remediation and coordinates patching efforts.
• Provides advanced technical support and troubleshooting for security-related issues.
• Develops and maintains technical documentation for security configurations, procedures, and hardening standards.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in security engineering or a similar technical role.
• Hands‑on experience with security technologies such as firewalls, EDR, cloud security controls, and SIEM.
• Proficiency in scripting languages (e.g., Python, Power Shell).
• Strong understanding of networking, cloud environments, and operating systems.
• Relevant certifications such as Security+, CCNP Security, or relevant cloud certifications.
