- Lead and manage day‑to‑day operations and sustainment of High Performance Computing (HPC) services
- Collaborate with the GDIT WCOSS team to address complex HPC challenges and improve service delivery
- Drive resource utilization to enhance customer satisfaction and meet contract service level metrics
- Utilize extensive experience to support customer operations on HPC systems
- Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair hardware failures while coordinating with vendors
- Bachelor of Arts/Bachelor of Science degree
- 8+ years of related experience in IT infrastructure and operations
- Highly proficient with Linux, scripting in Python, Perl, or Bash, and networking concepts
- Experience in administrating batch systems in an HPC cluster and system performance monitoring
- Must be a U.S. citizen and complete a satisfactory background investigation
- Extensive experience in troubleshooting and repairing hardware failures on servers
- Familiarity with programming in Python, C/C++, or Fortran
- Knowledge of system performance monitoring tools such as Open search, Grafana, or Prometheus
