Salary: $183,000 – $276,000 USD (Canada: $183,000 – $247,000 CAD | US: $204,000 – $276,000 USD) + Competitive Equity

They are launching two ambitious, greenfield AI initiatives designed to define the future of AI security and expand AI’s role in safeguarding digital experiences. • Lead technical direction and innovation for two new AI initiatives:

  • Security for AI:
    Establish industry-leading standards for securing AI and agentic workflows.

  • AI for Security:
    Design and implement AI-powered capabilities to strengthen and expand security solutions.

• Collaborate with engineering leadership to define the architecture, tools, and systems powering AI integrations.

• Build and deploy scalable, production-grade machine learning models, with a focus on large language models (LLMs).

• Partner with product teams to transform research into impactful customer-facing features.

• Mentor engineers across the team to raise technical quality and execution speed.

• Influence the company’s long-term AI security strategy through hands-on development and thought leadership.

• 8+ years of professional software development experience, with the majority focused on machine learning engineering.

• At least 6 years of hands-on experience building and deploying ML models and/or LLMs at scale.

• Proven track record of shipping high-impact ML/AI products in fast-moving environments.

• Experience across both innovative startups and large, established tech companies.

• Strong coding skills in Golang or Rust.

• Deep understanding of identity and access management protocols such as OAuth, OIDC, and SAML.

• Familiarity with HTTP proxies or gateways.

• Exceptional leadership, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills.

• Experience building MCP servers or Computer Use tools.

• Background in security-related industries, adversarial spaces, or products with high-stakes security requirements.

• Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Computer Science from a top academic institution.

• Base Salary: $183,000 – $276,000 USD (Canada: $183,000 – $247,000 CAD | US: $204,000 – $276,000 USD)
