ITCON Services is seeking a motivated and knowledgeable Sr. Drupal Developer to join our team. The role involves technical leadership with multiple teams in a dynamic environment, managing work across different customer environments.
Responsibilities
- Lead Drupal upgrades and migrations (Drupal 7 → 8 →
9) - Design and architect system solutions
- Develop and implement custom modules
- Resolve issues and troubleshoot
- Perform operations and maintenance tasks
Mentor junior team members, contribute to technical solutions across projects, and provide input on proposals.
Required Skills and Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree (Engineering, Computer Science, MIS, or related preferred)
- 8+ years of Drupal (7x, 8x) and PHP experience
- Experience migrating Drupal 7 → 8 & 9
- Full‑stack development, including Drupal front‑end theming
- 5+ years leading development teams
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL or MySQL
- Docker experience
- Experience with Akamai and other CDN technologies
- Site Improve and SOLR integration experience
- Linux deployment experience
- Configuration management tools knowledge
- Expert understanding of SDLC and best practices
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Detail oriented, time management, and multi‑threading abilities
- Agile team experience and strong research/analytical skills
- Document business case and project scope
Desired Skills and Qualifications
- 5+ years JavaScript experience
- Responsive design knowledge
- CI/CD experience
- Docker, Rancher, Kubernetes proficiency
- Issue/change management (JIRA) experience
- Angular or React
JS experience - Acquia Certified Drupal Developer or related certifications
