Sr Active Directory Engineer - W2

We seek a Senior Active Directory Engineer to work on our W2 from anywhere in the US within our Huntsville, Texas client's enterprise system support division. This division is responsible for networks, servers, enterprise, and cloud services. As a senior Active Directory engineer, you will support the planning, design, implementation, and ongoing support of our clients' active directories. (This is not an AD Administration role.)

• Gain deep insights into Customer issues and potential risks based on subject matter expertise.
• Devise an approach to solving complex problems.
• Exhibit intellectual leadership in the problem‑solving effort.
• Manage conflicting stakeholder expectations.
• Provide thought leadership in the project.
• Help the team to develop new insights from the analysis.
• Prioritize the recommendations based on ease of implementation and impact.
• Provide subject matter expertise on a specific area within the domain/technology/service.
• Expertise in identifying and defining problems, analyzing them, and developing recommendations.

• Must be well‑versed in Active Directory and Amazon AWS at an engineering level.
• Experience working with multiple domain environments.
• Experience with Microsoft Active Directory authentication processes (both on‑prem and Azure).
• Demonstrated proficiency with Power Shell for large‑scale management and automation.
• Advanced knowledge in Microsoft Active Directory architecture and infrastructure (LDAP, directory replication, Group Policy, Sites and Services, security, schema changes, domain controller management, and domain trusts).
• Complete understanding of security principles in the design and operational aspect of Active Directory environments.
• Knowledge of Identity Life cycle on‑boarding and off‑boarding processes.

• Knowledge of identity & access management concepts is a plus.
• Working knowledge of One Identity Active Roles preferred.
• Knowledge of ADFS and MFA preferred.
