Position: PeopleSoft Trainer #2127
People Soft Instructor/Trainer
Location: Remote – must reside within Texas
Project Length: 12-18 months
Our healthcare client is in need of an ERP Instructor/Trainer for a 12-18 month contract role as part of a People Soft Financials upgrade initiative. The ideal candidate will lead the delivery of training to all existing users, project managers, and project resources for a People Soft project. The Instructor/Trainer must work closely with the program areas and IT project team to assist with implementation.
The primary work location will be REMOTE
, but the resource MUST reside within Texas and be available to travel to Austin upon request.
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a new project rollout. The position offers a solid compensation package with potential for advancement or extension into other departments.
Qualifications/Requirements:BS/BA in Computer Science or a related fieldAt least 7 years of experience designing, developing, and implementing training curricula for ERP SystemsMinimum of 3+ years of experience specifically with People Soft FinancialsAbility to estimate work, set deadlines, and communicate effectivelyExperience with web-based learning management systems and e-Learning authoring toolsExperience producing documentation for processes and software systemsExperience with training curricula for instructor-led courses and videosExperience with video/audio recording and editingProficiency with Microsoft platform - SharePoint, Word, PowerPoint, VisioFamiliarity with IT SDLC processes and Agile projectsExperience delivering in-person and virtual classesAbility to multi-task and meet deadlines and release schedulesDaily Duties:
Prepare, conduct, and deliver training programs for People Soft FinancialsAnalyze audiences and training needs based on new business processes and policies, and tailor training accordinglyDevelop documentation and materials for training delivery and design exercises to enhance presentationsTranslate technical information into clear, understandable materials for technical and non-technical personnelProvide resources and information through classes, workshops, and handoutsCoordinate with software vendors for instructor-led and virtual training specificsDeliver on-site and web-based training courses as requiredFacilitate virtual classes, seminars, and how-to guidesMaintain training schedules, calendars, and logsRespond to training requests and new user requirementsGenius Road, LLC is proud to be a Certified Women’s Business Enterprise, an Equal Opportunity Employer, and values diversity.
