Summary
:
Provides technical support (development, testing, integration and implementation) of applications and interfaces which deliver IT tools and support business functions across the health system.
The responsibilities of this role will focus primarily on supporting our inpatient and outpatient operational teams using non‑Epic pharmacy systems and workflows that interface with Epic, providing innovative solutions to enhance functionality and troubleshooting issues effectively. Crucial to the position is the ability to work collaboratively with their team to optimize workflows and tools, adhering to our guiding principles and governing structure.
This role will be responsible for analyzing, developing and implementing new functionality as well as enhancing current build, contributing to meaningful innovations in non‑Epic pharmacy workflows. You will be expected to take call on a rotation and respond to requests effectively, updating your team/manager on issues that require escalation. While this position is remote working, you will be expected to go onsite across the state for go‑lives and required meetings.
Ideal applicants will have knowledge of automated dispensing cabinets, retail pharmacy point of sale systems and inventory management systems, as well as excellent communication and teamwork skills and a willingness to learn in an ever expanding field.
Responsibilities- Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management or related field (or equivalent combination of education, training and experience).
- Licensure/Certification Requirements: No licensure or certification required.
- Professional Experience Requirements:
- If a Bachelor’s degree:
Two (2) years of IT systems and/or operational experience. - If an Associate’s degree:
Four (4) years of IT systems and/or operational experience. - If a High School diploma or GED:
Six (6) years of IT systems and/or operational experience.
- If a Bachelor’s degree:
- Knowledge/Skills/and Abilities Requirements: Excellent analytical and communication skills. Ability to work well in a team environment. Demonstrated ability to successfully manage multiple tasks simultaneously. Highly responsive to internal customers.
