Position: AWS Enterprise Administrator (Remote - United States)

AWS Enterprise Administrator (Remote - United States) – Hexagon Asset Lifecycle Intelligence

Location:

Remote (Central or Eastern time zone).

Hexagon will not sponsor applicants for a work visa for this position.

Responsibilities
  • Enterprise Account Management:
    Oversee and manage the AWS enterprise accounts, ensuring compliance, security, and optimization.
  • Landing Zones:
    Design, implement, and manage AWS landing zones to support multi-account environments, ensuring proper governance and networking.
  • Cost Management:
    Monitor and manage AWS costs, providing detailed reports and recommendations for optimizing expenditure.
  • Security and Compliance:
    Ensure AWS environments adhere to security and compliance standards, implementing best practices at every stage.
  • Automation:
    Develop scripts and automation processes to streamline AWS operations and deployments.
  • Performance Optimization:
    Analyze and optimize the performance of AWS resources, identifying opportunities for cost savings and efficiency.
  • Troubleshooting:
    Diagnose and resolve issues related to AWS services, ensuring minimal downtime and disruption to operations.
  • Documentation and Training:
    Create comprehensive documentation and provide training to team members on AWS best practices and tools.
Qualifications
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience working with AWS, specifically in enterprise account management, landing zones, and cost management.
  • AWS Certified Solutions Architect or AWS Certified Sys Ops Administrator is highly preferred.
  • Proficiency in AWS services, including EC2, S3, VPC, IAM, Cloud Formation, and Lambda.
  • Strong capability to analyze and interpret AWS cost reports and performance metrics.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and support other team members.
  • Located in Central or Eastern time zone.
