Join Edward Jones in shaping the future of digital wealth management. As a Software Engineer on the Proposal Activations and Documents team, you’ll play a pivotal role in building and evolving a high-impact platform that empowers financial advisors to deliver personalized, investment strategies with speed, clarity, and confidence.
What you’ll do:- Design, develop, and maintain scalable, secure, and intuitive digital tools that streamline proposals and onboarding workflows.
- Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and fellow engineers to deliver seamless advisor experiences that integrate retirement, brokerage, education, and other account types into a unified proposal.
- Leverage modern technologies and cloud-native architectures to build resilient, high-performance services that support Edward Jones’ growing SMA/UMA and fee-based planning initiatives.
- Contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices, CI/CD pipelines, and Dev Ops automation.

Skills/Requirements What Experience You’ll Need:- Bachelor’s degree (preferred) in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, related field or related work experience
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in software development. Proficiency in modern programming languages (e.g., Java, C#, Type Script) and frameworks (e.g., Spring Boot, React). Experience with cloud platforms (preferably Microsoft Azure), microservices, and API-first development.
- Proficient in at least one of the following:
- Web Application Development
- Client/Server Application Development
- Mainframe Online and/or Batch Development
- Enterprise or solution specific purchased software
- Understand business implications of projects for systems within responsibility and prior experience
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
