What you’ll doWe are seeking a Performance Improvement Director to lead high‑impact projects for owners, boards, and CEOs. In this Vice President role, you will lead engagements, analyze corporate performance, and drive cost reductions, revenue growth, and profitability improvement within your functional area or industry. You’ll develop and grow a business in your expertise, build strong client relationships, and contribute to the firm’s growth.
DataModeling
- Select features, build and optimize classifiers using machine learning techniques.
- Execute machine learning projects using state‑of‑the‑art methods.
- Extend company data with third‑party sources when needed.
- Create automated anomaly detection systems and continuously track performance.
- Experience with Python, PySpark, R; mastery of at least one is highly desirable.
- Excellent understanding of machine learning techniques and algorithms such as k‑NN, Naive Bayes, SVM, Decision Forests, etc.
- Collect data from corporate databases (SQL, Microsoft, Redshift, Teradata, Oracle, Netezza), access files (Excel, plain text, OLAP cubes, no‑SQL).
- Parse poorly structured XML and invalid HTML documents.
- Use regular expressions to extract information from unstructured text.
- Deal with missing data through multiple imputation or advanced models.
- Automate repetitive tasks with scripts.
- Build reliable, robust ETL processes that govern data ingestion.
- Design database models, consistent table structures, and advanced dimensional schemas meeting data quality standards.
- Apply modeling approaches, BI patterns, and data management techniques.
- Understanding of cloud architectures; some knowledge of Azure, AWS, or GCP is desired.
- Advanced SQL skills (CTEs, window functions) for large datasets.
- Review and analyze legacy code/scripts to understand logic and rules.
- Apply statistical learning to build predictive models enhancing data insight.
- Distributed systems knowledge, especially HDFS and the Hadoop ecosystem.
- Use interactive visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) to present results compellingly.
- Tell a convincing story to C‑level executives with visual charts and dashboards.
- Present technical findings to non‑technical audiences.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience.
- Ability to synthesize requests from team members at client sites.
- Desire to engage with geographically dispersed teams.
- Creative, innovative problem‑solver using simple ideas.
- Motivated to learn new analytical techniques and tools.
- Strong verbal and written communication in English; other languages a plus.
- Willingness to work long hours, travel, and outside normal U.S. business hours as required by clients.
- Comfortable working full‑time in an office/remote environment; physically able to sit/stand at a computer.

Salary range: $120,000 – $220,000 per year, with potential eligibility for an annual discretionary bonus.
