Position:
Test Manager in the IT Department. Full‑time, fixed‑term (2‑year) contract with a start salary of £49,979 per annum (including London Allowance). The role is based in Egham and will support the major project to replace the Student Record System.

Key Responsibilities- Produce project‑level test deliverables and define test protocols; provide training to testers, schedule testing, monitor progress, and address test issues.
- Oversee all aspects of test delivery across all test phases on the project.
- Collaborate with the Project team and SMEs in design and analysis to ensure deliverables are testable and fit for purpose.
- Develop and implement Test Strategies and Plans covering functional and non‑functional testing, approach, defect tracking, Alpha/Beta testing, test artefacts, reports & metrics, and test completion reports.
- Line manage a test analyst.
- Professional qualification related to software testing (e.g., ISTQB Tester Foundation or ISTQB Tester Advanced – Test Manager).
- Experience interpreting specifications and delivering complex test projects in lead or manager roles.
- Strong working knowledge of test automation, Dev Ops, test environments, test data, test management, and SDLC tools.
- Experience testing Student Records and/or Admissions systems.
- Experience with a range of defect management tools and processes such as Azure Dev Ops.
- Team‑leadership experience and mentoring of less‑experienced team members.
- Excellent communication skills and a collaborative problem‑solving approach.
