: 100% REMOTE. Ability to manage individual tasks with some guidance and flag project risks as they are identified. Proficient in at least one programming language central to Data Engineering (e.g. SQL/Python). Competent in object-oriented programming and data structures. Proficient in optimizing workflows, pipelines, and processes. Proficient in cloud-based native tools such as data storage, distributed computing, business intelligence, and infrastructure as code (Power BI, Apache Spark, Azure, Databricks, AWS, etc.).

Proficient in ETL/ELT, pipeline creation, orchestration, & data store/warehouse/systems architecture. Familiar with Data Ops, Dev Ops, and/or Sec Ops. Demonstrate financial acumen to develop financial impacts for existing projects and evaluating new opportunities. Experience with ERP system migrations or integrations.

Description/Comment
:
Responsible for leading the design and support of enterprise-wide business intelligence applications and architecture. Works with enterprise-wide business and IT senior management to understand and prioritize data and information requirements. Solves complex technical problems. Optimizes the performance of enterprise business intelligence tools by defining data to filter and index that add value to the user. Creates testing methodology and criteria.

Designs and coordinates a curriculum for coaching and training customers in the use of business intelligence tools to enhance business decision-making capability. Develops standards, policies, and procedures for the form, structure, and attributes of the business intelligence tools and systems. Develops data/information quality metrics. Researches new technology and develops business cases to support enterprise-wide business intelligence solutions. This is an individual contributor role that requires the use of judgment in applying professional expertise and is expected to work independently with minimal supervision.

Roles typically require a university degree or an extensive amount of practical knowledge gained through experience. The job requires attention to detail in making evaluative judgments based on the analysis of factual information. This job typically requires a degree or equivalent and a minimum of 2 or more years of experience.
