F5 Engineer

* Description
* * Manager needs someone to help on a short term project totaling around 80 hours, mainly to migrate from Citrix load Balancers
* * Experience with APM, and ASM BIG.IP modules

* Experience with maintaining and configuration of BIG-IQ manager.

* Working knowledge using Linux operating systems:
Red Hat, CentOS, Ubuntu

* Knowledge of Ansible or other automation technologies

* Understanding of web services and REST APIs

* CCNA or CCNP Routing and Switching certification

* Experience with VMware and virtual security appliances

* Thorough knowledge of networking routing, switching, firewalls, authentication services and load balancers.

* UNIX/Linux system administration experience

* Experience with network security products and protocols

* Strong knowledge of networking principles

* Excellent verbal and written communications

* Working knowledge of Python, Bash or other scripting languages

* Ability to simultaneously work on multiple projects of varying priority

Skills & Qualifications
* * Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems, telecommunications, or an engineering focused field.

* 5 to 7 years of relevant F5 experiences with BIG.IP administration, module configuration and life cycle management.

* Understanding of networking at all layers of the OSI model.

* Pay and Benefits
* The pay range for this position is $70.00 - $70.00/hr.
