Associate Technical Consultant - Service Now

We currently have a career opportunity for an Associate Technical Consultant to join our intelligent automation team. This is a remote opportunity, must be located in the United States.

Usually a major in computer science, engineering or an engineering degree with programming coursework and an interest in being a software developer, the Associate Technical Consultant builds world class software applications for some of the country’s largest companies.

Perficient’s Associate Technical Consultants utilize top technologies including JAVA, .Net, Adobe, Oracle and Sales Force to implement popular software products such as IBM Web Sphere Portal, AEM, TIBCO, Siebel, SharePoint, etc. while working in a collaborative environment.

• Designing, coding and unit/integration testing using Perficient methodology
• Debugging and troubleshooting code related issues/defects
• Producing client deliverables such as detailed design documentation, unit test plans and well documented code
• Gaining an understanding of the unique business and technical requirements on each engagement to facilitate the most appropriate solution design
• Practicing strong configuration management and version control
• Representing Perficient professionally in both client and team situations
• Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/XP environment a plus

• Pursuing Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Management Information Systems or other technology related studies from accredited university
• Familiarity with back-end programming using Node.js, Python, Java, Ruby on Rails, or PHP
• Basic knowledge of databases such as MySQL, Postgre
  
  SQL, or Mongo
  
  DB.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and API integration methodologies.
• Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools to enhance productivity, streamline workflows, and support data-informed task execution.
• Familiarity with AI-enhanced platforms is a plus.
• A solid understanding of AI capabilities and limitations including ethical considerations is expected
• Willingness to learn and work in an agile development environment.
• Strong problem-solving and debugging skills.
• Excellent listening, oral, and written communication skills
• Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
• Flexible to new situations and challenges
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical specifications.
• Prefer candidates that have the ability to travel up to 50 percent

The salary range for this position takes into consideration a variety of factors, including but not limited to skill sets, level of experience, applicable office location, training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The new hire salary range displays the minimum and maximum salary targets for this position across all US locations, and the range has not been adjusted for any specific state differentials.

It is not typical for a candidate to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent on the unique facts and circumstances regarding each candidate. A reasonable estimate of the current salary range for this position is $ 52,300 to $78,015. Please note that the salary range posted reflects the base salary only and does not include benefits or any potential equity or variable bonus programs.
