Hybrid working:
The places that you work from day to day will vary according to your role, your needs, and those of the business; it will be a blend of Company offices, client sites, and your home; noting that you will be unable to work at home 100% of the time.

Your role

Engage as a technical expert during innovation discovery engagements - working with innovation consultants, UX/UI designers and fellow engineers to contribute inspiration and advisory on emerging technologies to help shape opportunities and solutions. Take up the role of a technical lead on innovation projects - working with our team, wider Capgemini experts and our clients to deliver high quality innovative solutions from proof of value to pilot.

Your skills and experience

• An expert in Full-Stack JavaScript/Typescript, with experience across any of the modern core frameworks from frontend through to API/service development.
• An end-to-end engineer, comfortable and experienced designing and deploying to cloud environments (e.g. GCP, Azure, AWS + CI/CD)
• Someone who takes pride in their craft and centres technical decisions around user needs.
• Strong presentation skills with the ability to engage with and understand stakeholders, working with them to create impactful solutions.
• A bias for action, understanding core engineering principles and able to pick up new technologies on-the-fly during projects.

Your security clearance

To be successfully appointed to this role you will need to undergo Baseline Personnel Security Standard checks.

There are no nationality or residency restrictions, although if you have resided outside of the UK within the last 3 years, further checks may be required.

There are other criteria and check required for BPSS, and throughout the recruitment process, you will be asked questions about your security clearance eligibility such as, but not limited to, country of residence and nationality.
