You like to get things right. A pragmatic perfectionist who sees the data layer as the foundation for great product choices. You know how to balance readability, simplicity, and scalability with performance and long-term maintainability.

Your top priority is to shape our internal data platform to support everything from internal insights to AI-powered features. You'll be one of three core members in our data team, with real ownership over what we build, how we build it, and what comes next.

You'll work on:

• Designing and maintaining scalable, secure data pipelines that feed Big Query from diverse sources
• Owning our infrastructure-as-code setup using Terraform
• Automating data QA, modeling, and maintenance tasks using scripting and AI
• Optimizing query performance and minimizing latency across the data stack
• Guiding data governance, including implementing role-based access control and security policies

Our data stack: Big Query, dbt (data build tool), Airflow, Google Cloud Platform (GCP), Python, SQL, Omni (business intelligence tool)

You ll collaborate across product and engineering, helping teams access trusted data and uncover valuable insights, faster.

• Stand-ups and ticket assignment. We believe in self-managed team members who know what to focus on next
• Unnecessary meetings. Your deep focus time matters, we default to async wherever possible

• Strong proficiency in SQL and Python
• Hands-on experience with dbt, Airflow, and modern cloud data platforms (e.g., Big Query, Snowflake, Redshift)
• Familiarity with infrastructure-as-code tools like Terraform
• Clear understanding of data governance and security best practices
• Product minded Engineers, you translate messy business needs into clean, scalable models
• Comfortable working autonomously in a fully remote, async team
• A strong sense of ownership with a bias for action and long-term thinking
• Curious about AI and how it can improve efficiency and decision-making
