Overview
Do you want to play an impactful role in the development and execution of digital strategic programmes within the Non-Life business unit of Nationale Nederlanden? We are looking for a Digital Strategic Programme Manager who is able to set up and drive digital transformation by shaping and managing strategic digital transformation programmes.
What you are going to doNon-life’s strategy is accelerating digitalisation to drive cost efficiency and enable growth, thereby unlocking sustainable customer value. The STEP team is responsible for creating value by helping Non-life develop and safeguard its strategy and identifying opportunities to increase operational efficiency, improve the customer experience, and drive sustainable growth. The team drives topics that overarch individual Non-life business lines or involve multiple teams/departments across Non-life.
Accelerating digitalisation, market consolidation, internationalisation, and technological advancements have changed competition and client expectations. The role requires experience in analysing data and (financial) figures, conceptual drafting of strategic options, and creating traction to enable transformations.
As a Digital Strategic Programme Manager, you will monitor industry trends on digitalisation, analyse processes, data, and ways of working, concept domain transformations (with AI), develop structured digital programmes, and help the organisation transform to become more cost efficient, improve customer journeys, and increase stakeholder value. The role balances high-level vision with practical delivery to drive digital transformation and achieve business outcomes.
You will oversee internal and external stakeholders, set priorities, and translate complex issues into actionable plans. You should be resourceful, able to align stakeholders, identify opportunities, and anticipate threats. You will communicate in a clear yet inspiring manner and translate complex issues into actionable plans.
As a Digital Strategic Programme Manager you will be responsible for identifying digital strategy challenges, leading strategic themes, and transforming the organisation through digitalisation programmes.
Key Responsibilities- Analysing digital domains in terms of process, data, technologies, and costs
- Conceptualizing and developing digital transformation strategies
- Executing complex transformation programmes across the organisation
- Balancing the needs of senior stakeholders as well as multi-disciplinary teams
- Communicating and reporting on progress in an inspiring way

- Salary between €6,406 and €9,151, with a possible progression to €10,907, based on a 40 hour workweek, depending on your knowledge and experience

You have strong communication skills and know how to engage your stakeholders in the right way.
