Overview
The Enterprise Solutions Engineer will work as a technology generalist with larger customers and engage in face-to-face meetings. The Enterprise Solutions Engineer will uncover and develop opportunities by building strong relationships with the customer. The Enterprise Solutions Engineer will consult on data center, edge, core, cloud, security, collaboration and services and will understand how that technology enables business. The Enterprise Solutions Engineer will report to the Manager, Technology & Innovation.
This position is a hybrid position allowing remote work opportunity, but also will require some onsite shifts based on operational events or requirements mandating a physical presence.
These duties and responsibilities described below represent the general tasks performed on a daily basis; other tasks may be assigned.
Responsibilities- § Provide technical leadership as primary engineer and subject matter expert.
- § Proficient with Microsoft Office Products Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word
- § Experience supporting healthcare organizations desired
- § Advanced knowledge of servers, storage, networking, virtualization, cloud and unified communication and collaboration regarding their impact on the business
- § Knowledge of Converged Infrastructure of servers, storage, networking and virtualization regarding their impact on the business
- § Experience with Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and High Availability Solutions (backup/recovery, mirroring, active/standby, active/active, clustering)
- § Strong knowledge of Virtualization technologies, Hypervisors, server and desktop virtualization (i.e. VMware, Hyper-V, Citrix, VDI)
- § Expertise in mainstream technologies to include:
Dell, Microsoft, Linux, Cisco, Palo Alto, Pure Storage, Azure and OCI - § Experience with Public and Private Cloud Solutions
- § Ability to work independently and manage projects with proven project methodologies.
- § Demonstrate a commitment to flexible work scheduling when necessary to ensure IT systems are available for patient care.
- § Knowledge of VPN, Metro-E topology
- § Knowledge with SDWAN and Application Load Balancers (Citrix and F5)
- § Provide on-call technical support 24x7x365; participate in the existing on-call rotation is mandatory.

Minimum Required
Education:
Bachelor’s degree preferred, or equivalent IT work experience.
Experience:
5+ years’ Information Technology specific experience in managing, administering, and implementing complex Information System technologies
Strongly preferred that applicant holds a current professional level certification from a nationally recognized technology Vendor (Microsoft, VMware, Citrix, Cisco, Pure Storage, Palo Alto, etc.).
