The Opportunity
We are seeking a proactive Data Strategist to join our consulting team. In this role, you will work alongside Senior Strategists and Data Architects to deliver data transformation projects. You will play a key role in analyzing client processes, mapping data flows, and "connecting the dots" between business needs and data solutions. This is the perfect role for someone with a strong analytical mindset who wants to specialize in modern data architectures and governance without necessarily writing production code.
Responsibilities

Conduct interviews with business users to gather requirements and understand their data pain points;
Map business processes and data flows to identify gaps and opportunities for data products;
Support the definition of Data Governance policies (data quality, ownership, security);
Help clients define "Data Products" by applying Agile Lab’s standard methodologies;
Prepare clear and compelling documentation, presentations, and reports for client stakeholders;
Collaborate with technical teams to translate business requirements into functional specifications for the data platform;
Participate in the configuration and setup of Data Governance platforms (e.g., Witboost, Collibra, etc.) from a functional perspective.

Requirements

Master s degree in Management Engineering, Economics, Statistics, or related fields;
2-4 years of experience in Business Analysis, Data Consulting, or Functional Analysis;
Good understanding of the Data Lifecycle and basic concepts of Data Architecture (Data Lake, DWH, APIs);
Familiarity with Data Governance topics (Metadata, Data Quality, GDPR);
Strong analytical skills and proficiency with Excel/Sheets and presentation tools;
Problem-solving attitude and ability to work in a dynamic environment;
Excellent communication skills, capable of interacting with both technical and non-technical teams;

Languages:

Fluent in Italian and English.
