This role is based in Singapore and is fully remote working for a UK Fin Tech firm.
You must be a Singapore PR to be considered for this role.
We are looking for an Application Support Specialist with experience of supporting bespoke software to join one of the UK’s leading Fin Tech companies, providing application support to clients based in the APAC region.
Your duties in this Application Support Specialist role will include:
- Application application support for systems and middleware
- Writing SQL queries and SQL scripting
- Performance tuning and application monitoring
- Root cause analysis, assessing the impact of incidents
- Work on the planning and implementation of new software releases/changes into the live environment
- Monitor and prioritise support requests, ensuring all parties are kept informed throughout and escalating where required
- Ensuring all work is documented and in line with SLAs as well as continually contributing to the procedures across the business
As such, we are looking for a proven Application Support Specialist with excellent communication skills in English, analysis / troubleshooting and client facing skills, and ideally with experience in support similar trading platforms in finance / banking industry.
They are offering a monthly salary of SGD $6,500 - SGD $8,000, and in addition to the base salary, they are also offering fully remote work, paid annual leave and a discretionary annual bonus.
